Plant Tree, Save Life and Water
(WBCHSE 2020)
On January 18, 2021 a seminar titled ‘Plant Trees, Save Life and Water’ was organised by our school authority in the school auditorium. The enthusiastic response from both students and teachers made the campaign a successful one. The seminar was chaired by the noted environmentalist VK Acharya who informed us about the harmful effects of deforestation and wastage of water. A tree plantation programme was also arranged under the supervision of teachers. Many students took part in the programme. A rally was organised by the school authority where students walked with placards with slogans regarding tree and water conservation of written on them. Social distancing, hand sanitisation, wearing of masks and other COVID preventive measures were strictly followed throughout the seminar. The programme ended with a pledge to save our ‘Mother Earth’.

২০২১ সালে ১৮ই জানুয়ারী আমাদের বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ বিদ্যালয় প্রেক্ষাগৃহে ‘গাছ লাগাও প্রাণ ও জল বাঁচাও’ শীর্ষক একটি আলোচনাচক্রের আয়োজন করে। ছাত্রছাত্রী এবং শিক্ষকশিক্ষিকার উৎসাহব্যঞ্জক সাড়া অভিযানটিকে সফল করে তুলেছিল। আলোচনাচক্রটির সভাপতিত্ব করেন বিখ্যাত পরিবেশবিদ ভি কে আচার্য যিনি আমাদের অরণ্যবিনাশ এবং অপচয়ের ক্ষতিকর প্রভাবগুলির সম্পর্কে বলেন। শিক্ষক শিক্ষিকাদের তত্ত্বাবধানে একটি বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচীও আয়োজিত হয়েছিল। অনেক ছাত্রছাত্রী এই অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করে। স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ একটি পদযাত্রার আয়োজন করে যেখানে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা প্ল্যাকার্ড নিয়ে হাঁটে যাতে বৃক্ষরোপন এবং জল সংরক্ষণ সম্পর্কে বার্তা লেখা ছিল। সামাজিক দূরত্ববিধি মানা, হাত পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখা, মাস্কের ব্যবহার ইত্যাদি কোভিড নিয়ন্ত্রণমূলক পদক্ষেপসমূহ সমগ্র আলোচনাচক্রব্যাপী কঠোরভাবে মেনে চলা হয়। ‘ধরিত্রী মাতা’-কে বাঁচানোর অঙ্গীকারের সহিত অনুষ্ঠানটি সমাপ্ত হয়।
